NOTE: this site is shared with my husband & I but I wear the hearing aids. PROBLEM I am a long time customer with Michelle at Audibel. I’ve bought several hearing aids over the years & she has always been friendly & knowledgeable. Since I am profoundly deaf & have to maintain backup aids. Thus, in 2023 (when warranties had expired) I paid $300 for factory repair. Recently when the aids stopped working she said it would be $500 to repair one & had to replace the other. I am 77yrs old & on SS, so went home & did basic cleaning under a magnifying glass… both are now working !! ??? Guess I was too trusting & of her expertise assumed she was correct…..I did not buy the very expensive replacements & ended my affiliation with them.

Love this office! Started going to see Dr. Michelle with my husband two weeks ago. My husband has significant hearing loss and finally convinced him to go see someone (he's kind of stubborn). I was able to get an appointment scheduled quicker than I expected. The receptionist is outstanding and takes her time explaining what is needed from you. Dr. Michelle... I've hoped to find a hearing expert like you for my husband! Dr. Michelle explained the processes of hearing loss where we both understood and was able to explain how this effects daily life on those with the loss and those who live with someone with hearing loss. The testing was thoroughly completed and answers given with complete explanations. My husband's hearing aids came in within a couple of days. Dr. Michelle worked with him to understand everything he needed to know about his new "ears" and she showed me all I needed to know to help my husband. We've been completely pleased with the progress of my husband wearing hearing aids. I am a grateful wife for this doctor and the Audibel office on East Gause in Slidell! I recommend this place 💯 %.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful in assisting in looking for updated hearing aides, however, not pushing them on me. A big change from 9 years ago! (Not here)! Recommend to everyone!!

Dr. Michelle Macione was AMAZING!! She was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Also equally important, she made adjustments to my hearing aids effectively and quickly! I am extremely pleased with Michelle!

Dr. Michele is a very knowledgeable provider. She educated me on hearing aids, the pros and cons of each unit and what was best for my type of hearing loss. I would highly recommend her services to anyone contemplating hearing aids.
